About me
My name is Mohammed Ruthan. I am from Saudi Arabia, and I am a lecturer at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU) since 2010-present. I received my BA in English language and literature from Imam Muhammed University, Saudi Arabia and my MA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Currently, I am a graduate PhD student in the linguistics department at Michigan State University (MSU). My interest is in phonetics, phonology, and sociolinguistics. I have worked on the temporal pattern of the Jazani Arabic word-initial clusters.
I am working now on perceptual dialectology and attitudes towards Jazani dialect.
